GREEN HORSESHOE TOUR

Tour plan:

Meeting on the Ban Josip Jelačić (main) Square in Zagreb. Zelena Potkova (eng. Green Horseshoe) tour starts with the visit of the Park "Zrinjevac" on the Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square. Afterwards we will continue our walk and see the Croatian Acedemy of Science and Art building on the J.J. Strossmayer Square and the Art Pavilion building on King Tomislav Square. There we will also see a beautiful park and statue of the first croatian King Tomislav. After that we continue our walk beside the fountain on Ante Starčević Square and the hotel Esplanade- one of the most luxurios hotels in Croatia which was first built in the year 1925. beside the main railway station in Zagreb. After the hotel we walk further and enter* the Botanic Garden which was grounded in the year 1889. and contains a large number of plant species. Afterwards we continue our walk beside the Croatian National Archives building on the Marko Marulić Square and visit the statue of Marko Marulić. After that we continue our walk across Mažuranić Square and beside the Academy of Dramatic Arts building. On our last station we will see one of the most beautiful buildings in croatia- the Croatian National Theater building which is located on the Republic of Croatia Square. Across the street we we also see the new building of the Croatian Music Academy and the Zagreb University building.
